In this project-based class, we’ll discover existing projects to join and work collaboratively to create multi-classroom projects based on Common Core and state content standards that will delight, engage and excite our students.

Achieve a solid understanding of Photoshop fundamentals and an ability to freely composite and enhance any image you can imagine. No previous experience with Adobe Photoshop is required.NOTE: The Photoshop software (version CS3 or higher) is required for this course – Software can be ordered through Foothill College bookstore or downloaded as a free trial version (1 month trial) from the Adobe website. You can also use the software for free at the KCI Multimedia Lab.

Learn simple Actionscript to create navigation buttons and animation portfolios. Make your typography and visual design dance.

Studies show that audiences retain 5% of what they hear from lecture compared to 90% when media, brainstorming and collaboration techniques are used. Power Point and Prezi now support many interactive capabilities that allow you to speak, engage and even collaborate with your audience. You will not only learn how to use these tools, but you will learn how to improve your speaking skills, demonstrate with multimedia, run collaboration sessions, and create rich media.
