TimingWhich cohort are you interested in?*Winter 2020Summer 2020LaterInformation - Winter 2020 CohortDue to popular demand, the Krause Center for Innovation is launching a Winter 2020 Cohort for its (maker)SPACE, Supporting Prototyping And Creativity in Education program. This 3-quarter, 18-unit program will provide individuals with the skills to develop and run a Makerspace in a K-12 school, library, community center, or after school program. Program costs also include training in all major makerspace equipment and tools, a yearlong membership to the KCI Makerspace, the materials, and supplies you need to get started, and much more. The total cost of this program is $1500, paid over three quarterly installments of $500 in December, March, and June. Please note that the KCI can only pay for tuition and units for California residents. In order to accommodate a variety of backgrounds and schedules, the program cohort will meet in person on one weekend (Friday night and Saturday day) per month between January and August 2020. The rest of the program will be completed online. All dates are Friday evening 6pm-9pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. The scheduled dates for this program are as follows.
