More Spring 2019 News from KCI

All 2018-19 KCI program cohorts have graduated! Congratulations to our MERIT, FAME, EMPowered, UniDIVersity, CIO, and Makerspace Coordinator participants for their commitment to these immersive, transformative programs!

KCI is partnering with The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose to offer a three-day Design Thinking Bootcamp for educators in April. 

KCI’s MERIT 2019 Cohort has been selected. Program kick off is May 11 for orientation. Four teachers from Hawaii public schools will be joining, funded by the Hawaii Community Foundation. 

KCI is partnering with Davis Joint Union School District to conduct a three-day Summer Innovation Institute in Davis for DJUSD teachers and educators from other local districts.

Carol Moholt, Encore Fellow, joins KCI to help develop a sustainability plan and provide corporate support for the makerspace. Carol’s expertise spans corporate and nonprofit sectors.

2019-20 applications are still open for many KCI programs including FAME, EMPowered, UniDIVersity, CIO, and CS Crash Course.

Spring classes are now open for registration! All spring quarter classes are offered online.
