Mr. Cavada works as a multimedia artist experienced in bringing digital tools and media technology to students and adults. He is an adjunct professor at Foothill College and helps run the MakeSapce program. His focus is on teaching teachers and community members design thinking, prototyping, and how-to-use computer-aided design and manufacturing tools in the Makerspace. He also teaches and runs the CTE Multimedia Film Pathway at Mt. Pleasant High School in San Jose, CA. The CTE Multimedia Film Pathway teaching students the skills to tell their stories using digital media tools. His past students have won film awards from the United Nations and local film festivals. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University and holds a master’s from San Jose State University. He has also completed a year-long fellowship at Yale Universty.
