Sarah Williams
Sarah Williams is an educator who has worked with diverse populations of students and staff in both middle school and elementary school settings. She believes schools should be equitable, inclusive, and culturally sustaining spaces. She is passionate about leveraging educational technology to support teachers in their practice, optimize student learning outcomes, and consistently seeks innovative ways to enhance the educational experience for all learners.
She started her educational career in the classroom teaching 4th and 6th grade. As a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Teacher on Special Assignment in the Union School District her role focused on supporting MTSS and PBIS implementation. She was also a TK-8th Grade Instructional Coach, designed and implemented professional development, and worked with the Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher Project as an induction mentor. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Blackford Elementary School in the Campbell Union School District.
Sarah is a MERIT 18 Fellow, completed the Space, ELLI, and Online and Blended Impact Programs, and is the current Director of the MERIT Program.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Multiple Subject CLAD Teaching Credential, an Administrative Services Credential, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
