Keynote Overview:

What is Agentic AI? Beyond the Chatbot
Most educators have tried AI and walked away thinking: That was helpful, but I still did all the work. This session is about what comes next. We will break down how agentic AI works in plain language, explore what responsible implementation looks like in schools, and demo how MagicSchool is building toward this vision today. You will leave with a clearer picture of where this technology is headed and what it means for you as educators and your students.

Section Topic
1 Welcome and framing

A brief introduction to the shift from generative AI tools to AI systems that can help complete real work in schools.

2 What is agentic AI? A straightforward definition of agentic AI, including the difference between a chatbot, a tool-using assistant, and an agentic system.

3 Agentic AI in
edtech generally

Real examples of how agentic AI can support teachers, students, school leaders, and families across planning, intervention, communication, and insight generation.

4 Why is education different?

Why education requires more than generic AI, including the importance of context, alignment, privacy, trust, and the teacher
oversight.

5 How we use it at MagicSchool

How MagicSchool is evolving Raina and the broader AI OS to use knowledge, data, tools, workflows, and memory to
support educators more meaningfully. Live session of MagicSchool and agentic workflows we use today.
