Polypad is a free, dynamic virtual manipulatives platform that transforms how students explore mathematical concepts. This massive “mathematical playground” includes dice, playing cards, tangrams, 3D nets, currency, and random number generators, alongside dynamic number lines, coordinate axes, variable sliders and more! From early elementary discovery to algebra explorations, the platform provides a tactile environment for students to experiment, visualize, and create. This crash course introduces the Polypad platform and demonstrates how to turn traditional paper-based explorations into interactive digital activities. Bring your favorite tasks and leave with an enhanced, student-driven exploration ready for your classroom.
Donation Sliding Scale
We’re trying something new. Our grant-subsidized workshops that we normally charge $40 (in reality a $350 value) are going to be a sliding scale where you can give what you are able.
