Education Conference

You’re invited to join us for a conference that’s genuinely built with you in mind. We know your time is valuable and conference options are everywhere, but this one is different: it’s completely free, meals are on us, and every session is designed by educators. Come talk honestly about AI, gain practical tools for your classroom, and enjoy a day where you’re fully taken care of.
Our Mission:
- We are un[AI]polegtic about boundaries. Being human is our first priority.
- We refuse to automate the human heart of teaching, relationships, critical thinking, empathy, and creative struggle.
- We will not accept black-box technologies blindly. We demand transparency, data privacy, and ethical alignment before bringing tech into our classrooms.
- We refuse to feel guilty about using AI to eliminate administrative burnout, automate repetitive tasks, and buy back time for ourselves and our students.
- We are learning alongside our students. We don’t need to know everything about AI to guide critical discussions around it.
Who is this for?
TK-12 educators and district leaders.
What Your Day Looks Like:
8:15 AM | Fuel Up and Check-in
Start your morning off right with a warm cup of coffee or tea, grab some breakfast, and catch up with colleagues before we kick things off.
9:00 AM | Keynote: Beyond Boundaries with Dr. Yvonne Cagle

Dr. Yvonne Cagle
We are starting the day with someone who truly lives the idea of being un[AI]pologetic. Dr. Yvonne Cagle is a NASA astronaut, flight surgeon, and visionary currently working on missions to the Moon and Mars.
Dr. Cagle knows firsthand what it means to step into the unknown. Preparing for a potential one-way mission to Mars requires a deep calculation of purpose, risk, ethics, and human limits. She pushes past known boundaries while remaining completely clear-eyed about the trade-offs and human cost.
In her talk, Dr. Cagle will explore:
-
Teaching in an era when technology evolves faster than policy or precedent
-
Using AI with confidence while staying fierce about protecting human agency, privacy, and ethics
-
Why no matter how smart the AI tool, it is always the human teacher who inspires, connects, and grounds the student
10:15 AM to 2:45 PM | Breakout Sessions (Choose Your Own Path)
Across four session blocks throughout the day, you get to choose where you spend your time. Feel free to jump around to different topics or stick with one focus area all day.
-
Strand 1: The Builder’s Sandbox
Want to leave with something completed? Roll up your sleeves and dive into hands-on creation. You can drop in for a quick project or spend the whole day building alongside experts in agentic AI.
-
Strand 2: The Ethics Playground (Play, Test, and Question)
A space for honest conversations. Test out tools, wrestle with big questions, hear different points of view, and think through the real impact of AI in education.
-
Strand 3: The Lab Studio
Get down to the practical details of how, why, and when to use these tools. Learn step-by-step strategies for incorporating AI into your teaching and taking back some of your personal time.
-
Strand 4: Crafting Calm in the Makerspace
Take a break from screens and get creative with hands-on, unplugged activities. You will recharge your energy while picking up fun ideas for blending tactile craft projects with classroom tech.
3:00 PM | Reception and Celebration
Once the sessions wrap up, join us at the KCI Headquarters to celebrate a great day. We will have good food, drinks, and time to unwind, connect, and reflect with fellow educators.
