I am a front end leaning full stack software engineer and technical leader who is experienced in the JavaScript and Python ecosystems (React, Angular, Node, Mongo, MySQL, Django, AWS, etc) with a specializations in Front End and API development. Ideally I do best in hybrid roles that require both technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills (i.e. Developer Relations, Developer Advocate, Technical Documentation). I want to make others lives better through empathetic engineering — engineering that has at its heart the needs and wants of others. I’m an experienced educator and musician as well — holding dual degrees in Physics and Software Engineering. I have a high EQ, am an excellent public speaker and relationship builder. In my “free time” I moonlight as a vocalist, arranger, and keyboard player professionally.
