Mariam holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Computer Education with a focus on Technology Leadership. Her diverse teaching experience spans English Language Development, Chinese language and culture, and robotics mentoring, reflecting her passion for integrating multiple disciplines to foster well-rounded student growth. She has taught Chinese at community colleges, high schools, and to Google employees.

A strong advocate for global STEAM education, Mariam is excited to support the micro:bit translation program, helping to expand access to hands-on learning opportunities worldwide. She is a Google Certified Coach and Trainer, an Apple Learning Coach, and an active member of professional learning communities, where she shares best practices and collaborates with fellow educators.

Mariam’s certifications include the CA Makerspace Coordinator Certificate from KCI’s SPACE program (#SPACE22), the EdTech Specialist Certificate from the MERIT program (#MERIT23), the Online and Blended Instruction Certificate (#OBI23),  STEAM Instructional Leader (#STEAM24), and AI Empowered Educator (#AI 25).
