Rachel Okazaki

Makerspace Coordinator

Rachel Okazaki has a background in pediatric physical therapy and assistive technology with over a decade of experience as a school based PT working with students in special education ages 3-22. She graduated with a B.A. in Biology from UC Santa Cruz and a Masters in Physical therapy from CSU Long Beach. She completed the SPACE program at KCI in 2022, which led her to becoming the Makerspace Coordinator at KCI and one of the instructors for SPACE. In the makerspace she supports Foothill students prototype and bring their ideas to life through training on various equipment and collaboration on implementation.
