Sarah Williams

Sarah Williams is an educator with over 16 years of experience. She has worked with diverse populations of students and staff in both middle school and elementary school settings. She believes schools should be equitable, inclusive, and culturally sustaining spaces. She is passionate about leveraging educational technology to support teachers in their practice, optimize student learning outcomes, and consistently seeks innovative ways to enhance the educational experience for all learners.

She is currently the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Teacher on Special Assignment at Union School District in San Jose. Her role focuses on supporting MTSS and PBIS implementation throughout the district. In addition, she serves as a TK-8th Grade instructional coach, designs and implements professional development across the district, and has worked with the Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher Project as an induction mentor.

She is a proud MERIT 18  Fellow, completed the Space, ELLI, and Online and Blended Impact Programs, and is the current Director of the MERIT Program.

Sarah holds a Multiple Subject CLAD Teaching Credential, an Administrative Services Credential, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
