Data literacy, emphasized in California’s new framework, is increasingly vital in our data-driven world. This workshop is suitable for educators of all subjects. We will explore CODAP — a free, web-based app that support students in learning and doing data science — and play with other user-friendly tools that highlight the interdisciplinary nature of data. Come prepared to learn about the data-related skills taught across grade levels and leave with classroom-ready resources to bring data alive in any educational setting.

Our goal is to make this workshop series accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. The full value of the series is $50 ($10 per workshop), but we invite you to contribute what you are able to. If you can pay more, your generosity will help support others who may not be able to afford the full amount. If the cost is a barrier, please contribute what feels manageable for you. We believe in community support and appreciate any contribution that makes this opportunity available to all.
