Assessment Renovation Lab: Redesigning Assessment When AI Can Generate the Work

Home » Workshops » Assessment Renovation Lab: Redesigning Assessment When AI Can Generate the Work

Bring an existing assessment and give it a thoughtful renovation! Using a practical framework, participants will examine what their assessment actually reveals about student learning, run an “AI stress test,” and redesign the task to make student thinking, voice, and judgment more visible. This 3-hour workshop includes plenty of design time as well as opportunities to collaborate with other teachers, get feedback, and leave with a revised assessment you can use in your classroom. We will also explore practical ways to support academic integrity and student learning when students have access to AI outside the classroom.

Donation Sliding Scale

We’re trying something new. Our grant-subsidized workshops that we normally charge $40 (in reality a $350 value) are going to be a sliding scale where you can give what you are able.
