You  will learn foundational strategies to support multilingual learners, including the use of graphic organizers, sentence frames, and other language scaffolds. We will also explore the importance of honoring students’ cultures and recognizing the unique strengths they bring to the classroom. The workshop will focus on building student confidence, fostering belonging, and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Donation Sliding Scale

We’re trying something new. Our grant-subsidized workshops that we normally charge $40 (in reality a $350 value) are going to be a sliding scale where you can give what you are able.

    4th Grade Teacher
I'm a 4th-grade teacher in Oak Grove School District and a former Silicon Valley Education Foundation math coach and curriculum writer. I love trying new strategies and learning new things (yes, even after 17 years)! I am looking forward to sharing what has been working in my room this year.
